After spending the weekend in a colorado time warp (our cabin was a flash back to the 1970's... more pics to follow) I was inspired to add a few retro elements to my sweeeeet spatious (i know you're all jealous) 1980's kitchen. So, I ventured over to ebay, and made my first purchase. Yes, I did this all by myself, I BOUGHT an item that i didn't really need all by myself, and so far, no buyers remorse... that will follow later of course. The killer partridge in a pear tree inspired canisters should arrive any day now. Tee hee.

do they have plastic lids? because I would prefer metal.
You should match the green from the canisters for your cabinets :) I am down to work on them this Saturday if you are...
thanks mard... how brave you are...(jord has offered to watch kids at your parents if you are serious)and you too beth, i wanted the lids to be authentic, so yes, they are plastic, and what's better?? they are already scuffed! Whoop Whoop!
