Our Junie has been having some health problems for a while now, and in May everything sort of came to a climax. She had a fever of 104 for eight days and we couldn't identify the problem. They finally decided to admit her to the hospital to run some tests, which they thought would only take a couple of hours. We sent Jordan to the pediatric ward with her, and I stayed home with the rest of the kids and the new baby, figuring this way the baby wouldn't be exposed to the hospital germs. The tests took longer than expected and Jordan and Junie spent the night there. Under normal circumstances this would have been a minor adjustment, but it just so happened that the next morning was Jordan's graduation day. He missed his big moment. He could have been walking down the isle to receive his diploma for his Master's degree, but instead he spent the morning in the hospital with his little girl. The announcements were mailed, the gown was ready, and the babysitters were in place and we missed the whole thing. I was so conflicted and worried about it. We didn't want to leave June to go to the graduation, but I wanted Jor to have his moment of recognition as well. I was worried that he would be dissapointed, but Jordan didn't even give it a second thought. He knew where he wanted to be, and it was right next to Juniper. I know it sounds cheezy, but I couldn't be prouder. I'm so thankful to have married someone who has clearly defined priorities. Thanks for putting us at the top of your list Jor. Junie's fever eventually went away, but we're still waiting on test results from some of the procedures to make sure other symptoms are addressed. We love you Junie.

Dear Fabulous Gray Household, You all have an amazing ability to teach us what is really important in this life. Diplomas come and go and honors are soon forgotten, but the love of a Father for his daughter remains for the eternities to come. What a blessing it is to know that the father and mother of this young family have all of their priorites in place for the best good of all. Jordan, you are a man of rare talents and abilites, but perhaps the greatest is the way in which you protect and govern over your most prized possessions....your little ones and your beautiful, talented, wife!!! We love each of you and are blessed to be a part of your family tree. Juniper, you are in our prayers and in our hearts. We know that Heavenly Father will keep you safe and let us know what to do for you. Kiss each other for me. Much love, Gram Tam xoxoxoxoxoxox
Everytime I talk about this story, I tear up, and I mean EVERYTIME! You scored with Jor Louie, just like he scored with you. And we're still praying for Junie.
What a man that Jordan is! Little Junie will never forget it either! I hope everything is okay with her and she gets better soon! I'm loving all the posts, your kiddos are to die for cute, Simeon is a perfect addition to the clan, and you are way impressive as always! Love you lots!
