The Birthday Chart

My awesome crafty friend Beth helped me make this birthday activity countdown chart. The birthday person gets to choose six special dinners, a cake (or a treat), and then there are little activities to do every day. (Like sleep on the birthday pillowcase, watch the home movies of when they were a baby, write great things on the birthday tablecloth). There's also a bag for little treats or gifts, and they get to open one every day. June got these sponge rollers for her hair as one of her mini-gifts. She was thrilled, and I thought it was hilarious- especially because I spent the majority of my childhood running from the pink sponge rollers. The birthday chart has been a great way to extend the celebration, especially because in our family all of the birthdays seem to come at the same time! It's like having Christmas in the spring.

I'm LOVING the curler pictures. I know you can dig one up of you that looks identical except that the sponge rollers are pink. Gram-Tam wants to go on the record for not apologizing for sponge rollers. The end result is just too cute, and it's even cuter on Juniper. Mom also wants me to note we are on my computer due to Gram-Tam computer problems, shocker, I know.
