Here's the Christmas kickoff! We have a pile of Christmas books, and each year we re-wrap them in brown paper bags and decorate the wrapping with pictures and funny phrases from Christmases past. Then each night we let the kids choose one to unwrap. It has been tricky to keep Indi from unwrapping the whole stack at once. Shown here is one of our favorites... Froggie's First Christmas.

Dear Fantastic little Family, I just love this tradition. A good Christmas book has a way of starting the season our right for everyone. This picture of all of you reading with your Mommy is one I will treasure in my mind forever. My favorite Christmas story, besides the story of the baby Jesus being born, is the story of the little match girl. I used to want to read it every year, and every year I would like I had never heard it at all. I wish I could hold all of you on my lap and tell you a Christmas story. Let's plan that in the near future. When I was little, we used to hear about the story of the Elves and the Shoemaker. Have you heard that one? Next time we are together, Gram Tam will tell you that story, just for fun. Happy Dreams to each wonderful Gray family member. I love, love, love, you!!!!! xoxoxoxoxoxox Gram Tam
