Our Thanksgiving tree

We started a new tradition this year during November. We made a big contact paper tree and attached it to the wall, and then added leaves with messages or pictures on them that would represent the things we were thankful for. The idea was to add one leaf every day, but it turned out to be more like a handful of leaves every few weeks. The kids had such charming messages and pictures on them that I decided I would save the leaves every year and we would add a few new ones each year as well. This way we can review past blessings and also count new ones.
