We had a great Thanksgiving with Sheridan and Ryan this year. They provided a scrumptious meal in their awesome new home. There were appetizers, special place settings, decorations, and the best turkey I have ever tasted. We were in charge of a kid friendly treat, so the kids and I made these turkey cupcakes. (Okay, so I forgot to take pics of OUR cupcakes, but this is the picture from family fun...) I had no idea how long these were going to take... it was about 3 hours from start to finish, and the kids were on board for about half of that time. The tedious part was cutting the feathers out of fruit leather and then sandwiching a toothpick in between the two pieces. We also added a beak out of candy corn. They were adorable, but I don't think I would attempt them again. AAaaaargh.
