Juniper and Atticus won first place in the group division for their science fair project called Egg-citing Science! We learned how to make a vacuum by heating the air inside of a bottle. When the air cools down it sucks the egg into the bottle. We tried all sorts of different bottles, and all sorts of objects. It was a fun experiment, and I think we all learned a lot. My favorite part was that Atticus named the bottles according to how they affected the experiment... There was Mr. Giraffe, Fatso, The Decapitator, The Strangler, and the Slider.
Funny thing, that was my SAME project for the science fair when I was in elementary school....it's a cool project...only the greatest minds are able to do it though ;-)
Dear Atticus and Juniper, Congratulations to both of you!!! Your project looks so interesting and I loved the poster and all of the names of the different bottles. I think it is great that you were able to work together on this project and that you received a first place ribbon!!! Wow, way to go. I am soooo proud of both of you. It is wonderful to be related to such intelligent grand children. Gram Tam sure loves you both!!! I can't wait to see you. I really, really, miss my grand kiddles. Much love, Gram Tam xoxoxoxo
