I took the peeps to the fire station to learn about fire safety, and we had a good time watching the giant flames, eating cotton candy, and meeting Smokey the bear.
Dear Grand Kiddles, What great pictures in your firemans' hats. I bet you had a grand time finding out about Smokey the Bear and all about how to not get burned and be safe with fires. I think you are the cutest firemen and women in the world!!! Even Gram Tam remembers Smokey the Bear from when I was a little girl. We used to see him at Yellowstone National Park all of the time. He helped Gram Tam learn all about fire safety too. I love those precious faces and I miss being able to kiss and hug them as well. Please give Mommy and Daddy a big hug for me and have them hug you back. I miss you sooooo much!!! Love Gram Tam xoxoxoxxoxo

When I read the last part, I thought it said Monkey the Bear, and I thought, 'yeah, it kind of DOES look like a monkey.'
